Picture this…
It’s a beautiful day outside. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and there is a slight breeze. But there’s one problem: you don’t have time to enjoy it. That’s right: it’s Monday. You wake up, look at the time, and suddenly realize that you have 1 hour to get ready for work. So, you jump out of bed, skip breakfast, change into your work attire, and then get into your car. But guess what? Your car has broken down! Perfect time for this to happen right?! After fiddling with the car a little bit, you realize that you’re not going to be driving this anytime soon. Now, you call your colleagues to see if anyone is able to pick you up. However, they’re in as much of a hurry as you are, so you aren’t able to contact them. Running out of options, you do the only thing you can do. You go to the nearest bus stop, wait for the bus to come by, and then ride the bus to work. Due to the increased amount of time it takes to travel in busses, you arrive late anyway. And as if you weren’t feeling bad enough already, your boss calls you to his/her office and gives you a hard time for being late. Since you are late, you’re behind on your work. So you spend the entire day working, both in the office and at home. You’re so busy that you ignore your friends and family for the rest of the day, you stay up late to keep working and then go to sleep only to do exactly the same thing over again.
